Asay Surf Boats

The Asay 17 ft Lifeguard Rescue Boat was established by Robert Asay in the early 1980’s in Asbury Park New Jersey. All from his boat shop located on the Asbury Park Board Walk and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Bob Asay began his legacy.

Through the years building his wooden boats, Bob shifted gears in the early 90’s and started to manufacture by hand what is the fiberglass we all see today. Located from Long Island New York and throughout the norther beach patrols in New Jersey, Bobs boats are a common sight along the beaches and used consistently in lifeguard rescues.
